Welcome to the home page of Sessay Drama Group.
Located in a small village in North Yorkshire, Sessay Drama Group has a theatrical history that stretches back over 25 years.
From this page, you will be able to find out details of past, present and future productions in addition to 'informed' comment from those closely involved with the group.

During its earlier times, the group performed mainly one act plays and revues. It even was known to go on tours of the local area. Recently its productions have largely been restricted to an annual pantomime, usually performed the first week in December.

The wavy buttons at the top of the page will stay available wherever you are on the site while the menu to the left will change depending on where you are within the site.

Note that due to commitments outlined within the Current production area, not all of this site is complete. Those areas that have content are located off the Archive link.

The main headings are described as follows

  • Current. Probably the lest entry on this website since your webmaster has left the group and there is no one else to keep it up to date or pay for the hosting costs.
  • Archive. Covering the last ten years, this section has details of all productions during this period.
  • Vault. The group has been performing for longer than ten years. Details of these are here.
  • Support. Not everyone involved with drama is a shameless ham. These pages are dedicated to the those behind the scenes.
  • Miscellany. Whatever doesn't fit into any of the other groups.
  • Mail. Send me a note about anything connected with the group or the site.

Many of these pages, in particular those concerned with productions have a large number of photographs, to make things interesting. Although the initial pages have small thumbnails, these link to larger images that might take a while to load. I can guarantee that they are worth it 'though (in most cases!)

A big thank you must go out to Heather who, up until 2001, provided all the photographs that you will see.
